Tasked with engaging a younger audience with Bank of America, we decided to launch a new kind of debit card.

The reality check card which uses a thin LED screen to track the amount of money you have in your account. 

Anytime you make a payment or a deposit is posted, the colors shift accordingly. 

When the card is all red, you’ve hit your “Low Balance Amount” you’ve set for yourself inside the app. 

When it’s blue, you’re at or above the “Good Standing Amount” you’ve set for yourself. 

App Extension

We will link the card to your Bank of America app so you can quickly check your limits on the lock screen of your phone at any time.

Digital Gifs

Digital Gifs will increase awareness after our initial product launch.

Cheeky text reminders linked to the app will let users know when they should take it easy or when it’s time to cut loose.
